Honest Disagreement Is Often A Good Sign Of Progress Meaning

Debating, therefore comparing their ideas, naturally leads to cultural growth, but why consider it as art? It is an art because it requires skills that you can learn throughout your life. You can`t paint a portrait of Mona Lisa alone without learning to paint. You have to practice your painting skills and then you can create a masterpiece. In the debate, it is the same thing. It is a continuous process. You need to learn the skills of debating, training with other people, and then you can gain the ability and confidence to speak in public or convince other people. Without learning and practicing these skills, you are not able to become a good speaker. In ancient Greece and Rome, public speaking in the community was highly valued. I do not see why it should not be the same in our time.

It`s time to get back to the idea that disagreements are okay.
